Pump It!

The LCI Pump-Out Boat: Champlain's Ark
...because a swimmabe, drinkable, fishable Lake Champlain is the only option.
The summer of 2013 was the first time Lake Champlain boaters benefited from a pump-out boat on this sixth largest lake in the nation.  Providing a free service pumping-out boat holding tanks, the LCI pump-out boat, Champlain's Ark, reduces the amount of harmful waste that is illegally discharged into Lake Champlain ... protecting Lake Champlain in style.
For the 2016 boating season, the LCI boat will be operating in Malletts Bay
The 2014 operating schedule will be posted soon!
To reach the Ark, hail Champlain's Ark on VHF channel 13. Email eric@mychamplain.net or call 802-879-3466 to find out where the Ark is each week.
About the LCI "blue waters" boat
This 24-foot boat was custom built by Harbor Guard Marine in California with input from LCI.  With a fiberglass hull shaped for speed and stability, an integrated 200-gallon holding tank, and Epsom pump motor, the LCI pump-out boat protects the lake and looks good while doing it.  This design is the only one in the world.  Graphics were completed by Sign-A-Rama VT in the spring of 2013, and the anti-friction product HullSpeed was applied just after.
